Travel by train in Germany is the best way to visit the land. There are two types of train travel in Germany. The high speed trains and the regular train travel. If you wanted to know and visit Germany’s cities fleetingly then you go for the high speed trains that have short cuts travel in between cities and you are on board the fastest train on land. But if you want to savor the German culture and gallivant around small towns and village then you can go for the regular trains.
If you speak the German; then your travel is a much easier and enjoyable part even without a guide. You can communicate and talk with the locals and ask for directions and even for information that you do not find on a tourist map or tourist guide book.
